At Community Roots Academy, our project-based learning (PBL) approach encourages students to think critically, solve real-world problems, collaborate with their peers, and take ownership of their learning. It's a model that prepares students not only for future academic success, but for life beyond the classroom.
That learning is enriched by experiences unique to CRA, including our Discover Garden, where every student builds a hands-on connection with nature, along with specialty programs in art, music, and physical education. Together, these opportunities inspire curiosity, creativity, and confidence while helping every child discover their strengths.
These programs are at the heart of what makes CRA special, and they are made possible through the generosity of our community. Each year, our Annual Giving Campaign sustains the exceptional educational experiences that define a CRA education and ensures our students continue to learn, explore, and grow in meaningful ways.
This year, we are asking each CRA family to consider a contribution of $750 to help sustain the innovative programming our students thrive in each day. Gifts can be made all at once or spread over monthly payments, whatever works best for your family.

Community Roots Academy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN #90-0673012). Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Monthly payment amounts vary based on when you begin your Annual Giving plan; all plans complete by June 15, 2027.

Make your donation, then keep your emailed receipt.
Search your company's giving portal (or ask HR about "matching gifts") and select or add Community Roots Academy using the details on this page.
Submit the match request. Your employer sends their matching donation directly to the school. That's it!
